Bristol Metropolitan Academy receives generous donation from Salvation Army

Staff at Bristol Metropolitan Academy were overwhelmed with gratitude this week as the Salvation Army generously donated a substantial number of gifts for some of the academy’s most vulnerable students and their families.

This incredible act of kindness means these families can enjoy a brighter and more joyful Christmas.

In the spirit of giving, staff and students at the academy have contributed festive wrapping paper, enabling a dedicated team of volunteers to wrap the gifts in time for the holiday season.

A spokesperson for the academy said: “We are deeply moved by the generosity shown by the Salvation Army.

“These gifts will make a significant difference for families in need, spreading festive cheer and easing some of the pressures of the season.

“The sense of community and support has been truly heart-warming.”
